The GSCT-KMD (Keio Media Design) Workshop was held in Keio University on September 3rd-5th, Japan. MS. student, Lee, Juyoung attended the workshop.
Sunjoong got the third prize on Abroad visit note
Our Ph.D. candidate Sun-joong Kim got the third prize (encouragement prize) at the BK21 Abroad visit note competition. He got 200,000 KRW. Congratulations!
Lab meeting & End of semester party at J Buffet
The last lab meeting of the semester was held on July 1 with presentations by Ph.D. candidates, Su-Eun Jung and Ik-Hwan Kim and Master candidate, Hyungjoon Kim. Sunjoong, Selected for Venture Research Program
Our Ph.D candidate, Sunjoong Kim is selected for 2015 2nd Venture Research Program for Graduate and PhD Students by the university headquarters from 1 July, 2015. The project is entitled “Metadata study of biological systems and rule extraction for the biological system retrieval in bio-inspired design.” Congrats, Sunjoong!!

Hyungjoong in Ars Electronica Exhibition
Hyungjoong Kim, a Master’s candidate of IBD lab will participate in Ars Electronica, world famous new media art festival, from September 3 to 7 in Linz, Austria.
