The 23rd International Conference on the Association for Computer-Aided Architectural Design Research in Asia (CAADRIA 2018) was held in Tsinghua University on May 17th – May 19th , China. Prof. Lee’s former PhD students, Yu Wu and Xiaofang, who are Professor at Wuhan University of Technology, came to meet with Prof. Lee and had lunch together.
Professor Lee served as a session chair: session 7C – Architecture and Urban Form and Analysis.
Our PhD student, Taeha Yi and researcher Sukjoo Hong presented the papers at the conference.
Also, Professor Lee had a presentation introducing next CAAD futures 2019 in Daejeon, Korea.
The CAAD futures Conference is a bi-annual international conference, which is to discuss and develop computational design methodology through the various areas within the multidisciplinary approaches. In 2019, the theme of the conference is “Hello, Culture” borrowing from “Hello, World”” which is used in all programming languages.
