Research to Understand City Modernization (July 19~24, 2011 NCKU Tainan, NYUST Yunlin, Taipei, Taiwan)
During our visit, we explored many colonized cases with NCKU Professor Chien and NYUST students. Including Tainan (臺南), Chiayi (嘉義), Beigang (北港) and Taipei (臺北), these dynamic cities were introduced as typical cases for comparison research. And the kind guide of this time joined our lab as a visiting student this semester. We hope to make farther progress on this topic through an international collaboration research with Taiwan and Japan as well.
